Shadow of the Comet was an adventure game set in H.P. Lovecraft's fictional Cthulhu universe, circa 1910. It follows a young British photographer named John Parker who has arrived at the New England town of Illsmouth to photograph Halley's Comet. Upon his arrival, he discovers a conspiracy that is linked to Lord Boleskine's visit to the town during the previous passage of the comet in 1834.
