Some work was done by the GSoC student Joefish during the GSoC 2017 to implement the engine in ScummVM. The code for the first part was subsequently completed and cleaned up. In addition, work on the second part was done by the GSoC student Jarda during the GSoC 2019 to implement the engine in ScummVM.
