The Clue! was an adventure RPG by Neo Software Produktions GmbH. The game follows a small-time criminal named Matt Stuvysunt who moves to London in the 1950s and tries to commit burglaries there.
Notes
In 2000, the developers of the original game released the game assets and the source code of the DOS version under a custom license. A short time later, an SDL based reimplementation that was licensed under the GPLv2 was released, titled COSP "Clou Open Source Project". Additionally, the game was ported to SDL2 by Vasco Alexandre "vcosta" da Silva Costa.
The ScummVM engine is based on both COSP and vcosta's implementation.
