Core Design was a video game company founded by Chris Shrigley, Andy Green, Rob Toone, Andy Green, Terry Lloyd, Simon Phipps, Dave Pridmore, Jeremy Smith and Greg Holmes. It was purchased by CentreGold in 1994. CentreGold was purchased by Eidos Interactive in 1996.
Core Design developed Curse of Enchantia and published The Big Red Adventure.
In 2006, Core Design's assets and staff were sold to Rebellion. Eidos still retains the Core Design brand name.
