About
The AGOS Engine was originally created by Alan Cox at HorrorSoft and is based on AberMUD V, with graphical extensions. The AGOS engine was used in the following games:
- Personal Nightmare (1989)
- Elvira - Mistress of the Darkness (1990)
- Elvira 2 - The Jaws of Cerberus (1991)
- Elvira 3 - Waxworks (1992)
- Simon the Sorcerer (1993)
- Simon the Sorcerer 2 (1995)
- The Feeble Files (1997)
- Simon the Sorcerer Puzzle Pack (1998)
The source code for AberMUD V was released in October 1995.
The Acorn (CD) and PC versions of Simon the Sorcerer are supported.
The Amiga, Macintosh and PC versions of Simon the Sorcerer 2 are supported.
We have recently obtained the source code for The Feeble Files from Adventure Soft, which was added to ScummVM in version 0.9.0.
