Danger Close Games was founded as DreamWorks Interactive by DreamWorks and Microsoft in 1995.
After the success of DreamWorks Interactive's Medal Honor, which was published by Electronic Arts, the latter purchased the former in 2000 and renamed the studio EA Los Angeles.
EA Los Angeles was renamed Danger Close Games in 2010. The studio closed in 2010, with some staff moving to other EA studios.
As DreamWorks Interactive, they published the adventure game Gold and Glory: The Road to El Dorado, based on the DreamWorks film The Road to El Dorado.
