Backyard Football was the first game in the popular Backyard Football series. It was an american football game that attempted to recreate the experience of playing football as children. The Windows and Macintosh versions use the SCUMM scripting language. The Gameboy Advance, Gamecube, and Playstation 2 versions used a custom 3D engine. This was the first of the Humongous Backyard Sports games to feature an official sports license. It featured Steve Young and seven other Quarterback Club players. It also was the first of the Backyard Sports games to have a create-a-character feature.
