King's Quest II: Romancing the Throne was created by Sierra On-Line co-founder Roberta Williams in 1985. It is set in the fictional kingdom of Daventry, and follows the story of King Graham as he searches for the three keys to unlock a magic door which leads to Princess Valanice, a woman he saw in Daventry's magic mirror.

There are two releases of the game, the original release and a later release with support for the EGA adapter.
