There are a few tradional AGI picture editors, which are able to edit and save AGI picture resources directly:
Also one can create AGI pictures indirectly by creating an image created with a real graphic editor software, such as Jasc's Paint Shop Pro and convert the image with converter software to create a functional AGI picture. At the moment such procedure is possible with Erik Agsjö's Noptec Vector and QT AGI Studio which both allow user to import bitmaps images which will be converted into AGI Picture.
The Picture Command Repeater provides a way to repeat a drawing operation in a picture, which can make drawing things such as brick walls less tedious.
The Room Generator can create picture resources featuring an empty cube-shaped room with an invisible fourth wall and surrounding border.
