Access Software was an American video game developer in Salt Lake City, Utah, founded in 1982 by Bruce Carver. Microsoft bought Access Software in 1999 and renamed it to Salt Lake Games Studio. In 2003, it was renamed again to Indie Games. In 2004, it was sold to Take Two Interactive, and was renamed once again to Indie Built. Take Two closed Indie Built on April 28, 2006.

They developed the Access engine, which they used to develop the adventure games Martian Memorandum and Amazon: Guardians of Eden.
