Adventure Soft is a video game company founded by Mike Woodroffe.

Adventure Soft started out by licencing the interactive fiction games by Adventure International for sale in the United Kingdom.

They began creating their own games in 1984, and starting in 1989, gained a cult following with their Elvira series of adventure-RPGs. The Elvira series was published under the Horror Soft label with Personal Nightmare as the first game.

Today, they are most well known for creating the Simon the Sorcerer series.

They have been of much support to the ScummVM project, permitting us access to the source code for their games Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, The Feeble Files and Simon the Sorcerer Puzzle Pack.

Adventure Soft produced many adventures like the Elvira series and the Simon the Sorcerer series based on the AGOS engine.

They are now making three dimensional games. These games are not, and never will be a part of ScummVM.

  • Simon the Sorcerer 3D
