Brøderbund was a video game developer and publisher that was founded in 1980 by Doug and Gary Carlston. They were purchased by The Learning Company in 1998. They developed The Manhole, the Carmen Sandiego series, the Living Books series, and In the 1st Degree. Brøderbund developed the Windows port for Myst and they were one publisher of The Last Express.
