Downfall is a horror adventure, and the first game in the Devil Came Through Here trilogy.
Joe and Ivy Davis, a young couple, take shelter in the hotel of Quiet Haven. Ivy, already suffering from hallucinations and delusions, starts behaving erratically and eventually disappears.
Joe will need to explore the surrounding and find her, but the task will greatly challenge his own sanity.

Versions
The original game was released in 2009 as freeware. Then, after the release of the commercial sequel The Cat Lady (2012) it was re-released in 2015 as Downfall Redux.
The remake includes an expanded storyline, vastly improved graphics and voiceovers. It also uses the same unusual side-scrolling perspective and keyboard controls present in The Cat Lady, whereas the
original version featured the standard third-person perspective with mouse control.
Status
Both versions are playable but not yet confirmed as completable.
The redux version is graphically intensive due to the transparency effects used and may be slow on low-spec machines.
