Hugo II: Whodunit? was the second game in the Hugo series. It used the same engine as the previous game, and was a graphic adventure game with a parser and optional mouse control in the Windows version. The player controls Penelope, Hugo's girlfriend, who had witnessed a murder at Hugo's uncle's mansion. She must gather clues and call the police so that the crime can be solved.
