Mad Dog McCree is a live action FMV rail shooter in an Old West setting.
The player, a "nameless stranger", needs to defeat Mad Dog's gang of outlaws and rescue the mayor and his kidnapped daughter.
The original arcade release was a commercial success and was followed by countless ports and remasters.
A sequel was also released, named Mad Dog II: The Lost Gold.
