Maniac Mansion Deluxe is a fanmade remake of the LucasArts adventure Maniac Mansion.
The game includes improvements to the graphics and UI, with no change to the gameplay or difficulty. All the possibile deaths and deadends of the original have been implemented.
The remake was created using Adventure Game Studio.
Improvements over the original
- Redrawn 256-color graphics
- 9-verb modern SCUMM-like interface, with graphical inventory
- Additional music and sound effects, mostly inspired by Day of the Tentacle
- Translations (16 languages in v1.4)
