Mortadelo y Filemón: Una Aventura de Cine is a Spanish point-and-click adventure game starring the comic book characters Mortadelo y Filemón (Clever & Smart).

The game was originally released in 2003 as combination of Mortadelo y Filemón: Dos vaqueros chapuceros (2000) and Mortadelo y Filemón: Terror, Espanto y Pavor (2000) with a special version released in 2004. This special version was also released in Germany (with German speech) as Clever & Smart: A Movie Adventure. The re-release of Erbe Software on Steam contains a version with Spanish speech and English subtitles.

Status

Both editions of Una Aventura de Cine as well as the two single-chapter games are supported. Some videos will not play yet and the multiplayer mode is not supported.

Installation

For more information on how ScummVM uses game data files, see the user documentation.

This is the installation folder if you installed the game using original CDs, or the "English" or "Spanish" folder if you installed the game using Steam.

Una Aventura de Cine - Edición Original

  • disk1/Install/global.emc
  • disk1/Install/oeste.emc
  • disk1/track02.wav ... disk1/track19.wav
  • disk2/Install/terror.emc
  • disk2/track02.wav ... disk2/track18.wav

If you have original CDs you can use a tool like fre:ac to extract the audio tracks. If you have the Steam release you will have to use a tool like bchunk first to extract the audio tracks and ISO files from the distributed images CD/MYF.bin and CD/MYF2.bin. Then extract the emc files from the ISOs and construct the folder structure like shown above.

Keep in mind that, due to the multiple disks, this does not follow the CD audio guide from ScummVM.

Dos vaqueros chapuceros

  • global.emc
  • oeste.emc
  • track02.wav ... track19.wav

If you have original CDs you can rip the audio tracks. If you have the Steam release, there is no music - Erbe Software did not distribute it.

Terror, Espanto y Pavor

  • global.emc
  • terror.emc
  • tracke02 ... track18.wav

If you have original CDs you can rip the audio tracks. If you have the Steam release, there is no music - Erbe Software did not distribute it.

Additionally for the Steam release you will have to extract terror.emc from CD/MYF.iso (in the Install folder).
