Rise of the Dragon is an adventure game set in Los Angeles, California in a dark version of the future, circa 2053. It follows a private investigator named Blade Hunter, who used to be an officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. A designer drug kills the mayor's rebellious daughter, Chandra, and Hunter is hired to find the people responsible for releasing the drug on the streets. What Blade ultimately finds is much more than he expected.

Required Data Files

DOS version

  • VOLUME.00* and VOLUME.VGA or VOLUME.EGA from an installed version of the game

Using Original Saves

ScummVM has its own save format to support screenshots and metadata, but starting with v2.10.0, also supports loading save game files from the original games. Copy the save file, eg SCORES.001 in to your ScummVM save game directory and name it to match the game ID and a slot number, eg rise.010. You can then load this game directly.
