The Cat Lady is a dark/horror adventure, and the second game in the Devil Came Through Here trilogy.
Susan Ashworth is a depressed middle aged woman, living alone with only the company of a few cats (thus the nickname "The Cat Lady").
After an attempted suicide, Susan meets "The Queen of Maggots", a woman who grants her eternal life but also gives her the task of eliminating several evil persons, which she calls "parasites".
The game uses an unconventional (for adventures) side-scrolling perspective, and is played using the cursor keys instead of the mouse.

Status
Game is playable but not confirmed as completable.
The game is graphically intensive due to the transparency effects used and may be slow on low-spec machines.
