New World Computing was an American video game developer and publisher formed in 1984 by Jon and Michaela Van Caneghem and Mark Caldwell. The company was purchased by the 3DO Company in 1996. It dissolved, along with the 3DO Company, in 2002. They published the adventure game Inherit The Earth.
