Infogrames was a video game holding company founded by Bruno Bonnell and Christophe Sapet.

They published several Humongous Entertainment titles before they acquired Atari in 2003. When Atari became the United States subsidiary of Infogrames, all Humongous Entertainment titles were published by Atari. Atari filed for bankruptcy in January 2013, and Tommo purchased Humongous Entertainment at the bankruptcy auction in July 2013. Tommo now publishes the games that are based on the Humongous adventure game characters, while Moonbase Commander is published by Rebellion, and the rights to the Backyard Sports franchise now belong to The Evergreen Group.

In May 2009, Namco Bandai bought Atari Europe and Infogrames announced it was getting out of the distribution business in Europe. That same month, they changed their name to Atari, bringing an end to the Infogrames brand name.
