Border Zone is a text adventure by Infocom. In the late 1980s, the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States was at its peak. The US ambassador is due to arrive at the fictional border country of Ostnitz to give a speech on the country's local Constitution Day, however, a plot to assassinate the ambassador is revealed, escalating Cold War tensions even further. The game centers on three protagonists, an American businessman, a Western secret agent, and an Eastern secret agent, with each of their stories taking place at different points in the game.
