Sam & Max Hit the Road was the ninth game to use the SCUMM scripting language. The game first follows the crime fighting duo, a dog named Sam and a lagomorph named Max, as they recover a bigfoot who was stolen from a carnival. Later, the game follows the characters as they uncover an ancient spell to restore the Earth to it's original state.
Game Variants
The CD versions were "talkie versions" and included speech for each of the lines of text said by the characters in the game.
