The Gene Machine is an adventure game set in London in the 1880's. The game follows a British gentleman named Piers Featherstonehaugh and his faithful servant, Mossop. When the duo find a talking cat on their doorstep, they discover a dastardly plot concerning genetic mutations gone amok. Piers Featherstonehaugh sets out to stop these experiments and to catch the person who is responsible.
