Rome: Pathway to Power is an adventure that is set in ancient Rome. A poor slave in Herculaneum travels to Rome to climb the social ladder, becoming a Captain in the army, a Senator and eventually Emperor of Rome. Four of the levels are in the style of an adventure game, whereas the other two are in the style of strategy games, where you control the Roman army in an attempt to conquer an enemy of Rome.
