Versions
There are several different versions of Meet Mediaband, each with their own graphical and audio differences. While all notable, the differences mainly consist of visual tweaks and small quality-of-life improvements.
However, in a rather counterintuitive move, the version numbers actually go down with each version, with Version 4.2 being the first version and 1.0 being the last. This has been verified via the file dates of the various releases, with 1.0 having the newest versions of files and 4.2 having the oldest versions.
Version 4.2
Version 4.2 is the oldest release of the game, dating to about September 1994. It is unknown how widely released this original version of the game was, as it uses unprotected DIR files for its game data and features an alternate title, "Meet the Mediaband", throughout many sections.
Version 1.1
Version 1.1 appears to be featured on all Windows versions of the game, as well as several Mac releases. Dated to approximately August 1995, it features a new title sequence added to the game, as well as many quality-of-life improvements improving navigation in Undo Me and the Archives.
Version 1.0
Version 1.0 is the last version, dated to around September 1995. It appears on many Mac releases, including some releases marked as Version 1.1 on the disc. This version adds additional interstitial graphics and graphical tweaks, as well as a new Director movie called "Animated Online Help" that explains the game and its mechanics.
