We plan to apply again to the Google Summer of Code 2008 and hope that they will accept our application. We already participated in GSoC 2007 with some good results. Stay tuned, as we will update this once we know more.
In the meantime, feel free to check out the OpenTasks page (which currently is not quite up-to-date and will be updated in the next couple days). Everybody is welcome to work on tasks listed there (or come up with tasks of their own), independent from the SoC.
