AGOS
About
The AGOS Engine was originally created by Alan Cox at HorrorSoft and is based on AberMUD V, with graphical extensions. The AGOS engine was used in the following games:
- Elvira - Mistress of the Darkness (1990) (not an adventure game, and hence out of the scope of ScummVM)
- Elvira 2 - The Jaws of Cerberus (1991) (not an adventure game, and hence out of the scope of ScummVM)
- Elvira 3 - Waxworks (1992) (not an adventure game, and hence out of the scope of ScummVM)
- Simon the Sorcerer (1993)
- Simon the Sorcerer 2 (1995)
- The Feeble Files (1997)
- Simon the Sorcerer Puzzle Pack (1998)
The source code for AberMUD V was released in October 1995.
The Acorn (CD) and PC versions of Simon the Sorcerer are supported.
The Amiga, Macintosh and PC versions of Simon the Sorcerer 2 are supported.
We have recently obtained the source code for The Feeble Files from Adventure Soft, which will be added to ScummVM.
