Cold Case Summer: A Carol Reed Mystery is the ninth game in the Carol Reed series of mystery adventure games. Carol is asked for help by a mysterious man, but Carol declines since the man doesn't want to reveal his identity. The next day, the man's body is found floating in the Norrköping River. Carol decides to investigate his death. When she finds links between the man's murder and the 1986 murder of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme, Carol realizes that her own life is in danger.
