As well as the main ScummVM interpreter, and related engines, the ScummVM Team occasionally embarks on various side projects.
These currently include:
- ScummEX
- A resource viewer for SCUMM containers
- Residual
- A LUA/OpenGL 3D engine for the LucasArts title Grim Fandango
- Dragon
- A 3D engine for the Revolution title Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon
