Sandcastle is a company that was formed in 1988 by Will Harvey while he was earning a computer science doctorate at Stanford University. In 1995, Sandcastle became focused on internet technology, specializing in fixing latency problems.
It developed the adventure RPG, The Immortal, in 1990.
