'''Backyard Baseball 2006''' was the sixth game in the [[Backyard Baseball series]] of games aimed at recreating the experience of playing baseball as children.  This game was the second game in the series to be released on the Gameboy Advance platform, and the first and last game in the series to be released as an exclusive to that platform.  Like all of the entries in the series except the first game, it has official licenses from the Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, and features MLB players portrayed as children.
