:The game actually was called "Space Quest 6" and not "Space Quest VI". The original cancelled Space Quest VII game had the working subtitle of "Return of Roman Numerals" as a joke to show that the last game was the first game to not use the roman numeral system in the Space Quest series - and indeed that the numbering was inconsistent. However, since Sierra themselves made the inconsistent naming of the games, I feel that we should definitely not use Space Quest VI, since the game was never called that officially.
