Electronic Arts (EA) is an American video game developer and publisher that was founded on May 28, 1982 by Trip Hawkins.
When they purchased Westwood Studios in 1998, they became the publisher of their games. The Westwood games they published so far include Lands of Lore and The Legend of Kyrandia. In addition, they also published the adventure game Noctropolis.
