Bandai was founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1950. Bandai spun its game development group out to Bandai Games in 2005, which merged with Namco to form Namco Bandai Games later that year. Bandai, as Bandai Digital Entertainment, published The Journeyman Project: Pegasus Prime. Bandai also published a few games under their label Emotion Digital Software, including the PlayStation and Sega Saturn versions of Return to Zork, distributed by Bandai Visual.
