King's Quest IV: The Perils of Rosella was created by Sierra On-Line co-founder Roberta Williams in 1988. It is set in the fictional land of Tamir, as Princess Rosella travels there searching for a magical fruit which will heal her father, King Graham, who has suffered a heart attack and will soon die without it.
There are three versions of King's Quest IV: the original AGI version, and two SCI versions: one released simultaneously with the original AGI release, and another released later with slightly differing graphics.
