Obsidian is a first-person adventure where you play Lilah, a scientist searching for her partner Max in a surreal, dream-like world inside of a crystalline structure that formed near their campsite.

Macintosh 5CD
Copy all files from the CD-ROMs to the game directory.

Windows 5CD
Copy all files from the CD-ROM to the game directory.
Alternately, copy the following files to the game directory:
- Obsidian.exe
- Obsidian Data 1.MPL
- Obsidian Data 2.MPX
- Obsidian Data 3.MPX
- Obsidian Data 4.MPX
- Obsidian Data 5.MPX
- Obsidian Data 6.MPX
And copy the following files to a directory named "resource" located in the game directory:
- Obsidian.c95
- RSGKit.r95
- MCURSORS.C95
Demos
Copy all files to the game directory.
Music Configuration
Setting a GM device in Global Options is strongly recommended for music that resembles the original game.

Subtitles
English subtitles are available as an add-on from the downloads page: https://www.scummvm.org/games/
To use them, extract the subtitles files into the game directory, then enable subtitles via the Audio tab of the game options or global options.
Additional subtitles for sound-based puzzles can be enabled via the "Enable subtitles for important sound effects" option on the Game tab.
16:9 Widescreen Mod
The "16:9 widescreen mod" option in the Game tab removes the letterbox margins at the top and bottom of the screen and moves all inventory item graphics into the displayed area, allowing the game to be scaled up to larger sizes on widescreen displays.
