The Adventures of Willy Beamish is an adventure game that parodies the adventure game genre. It follows Willy Beamish, a nine year old trouble maker living in a town in the United States called Frumpton. He is sent to detention and has to sneak out early so he can intercept his report card that shows he received a poor grade. He aspires to win the Nintari gaming competition, but his dream is made harder due to the fact that video game priveledges have been revoked due to bad grades, and various problems have crept up around his neighborhood.

Fixing MT-32 Music and SFX on CD version
Unfortunately, the SFX MT-32 patch data in the CD version of the game are corrupted. The floppy disk version of the game has MT-32 support, but it was turned off in the CD version because the voice acting requires a SoundBlaster and the audio system only supports one driver at a time.
To get the best of both worlds, ScummVM will automatically look for the floppy data in an "FDD" subdirectory and load MT32 patches from there if available. If you have the GOG edition of the game, it includes both CD and FDD versions and this is how it comes organized already. If you don't have the GOG edition but happen to own both versions, you can put the FDD data in an "FDD" subdirectory.
