The Shivah is a short point-and-click adventure game.
Cynical and disillusioned Rabbi Stone is facing closure of his synagogue, due to debts and declining membership.
To make matters worse, he becomes the prime suspect when a former member of his congregation is killed, unexpectedly leaving him a significant amount of money.
He decides to take matters into his own hands and investigate, to clean both his reputation and his conscience.
Versions
The game commonly called The Shivah is actually The Shivah: Kosher Edition, which is a remake of the former title.
The remake features improved graphics and full voiceovers.
The GOG.com release includes both versions. Both games are playable on ScummVM.
